Revolutionary Mitsubishi’s X-FORCE Dominates the Market with Class-Leading Features and Unbeatable 1.5-Liter Power
Mitsubishi Motors Corporation’s Philippine subsidiary has commenced pre-orders for the new compact SUV “X-FORCE,” with sales set to begin on July 5, 2024. The x-force, a global model compact SUV, initially debuted in Indonesia in August 2023 and is tailored for the ASEAN region, with plans for subsequent launches in Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.
Measuring 4,390mm in length, 1,810mm in width, and 1,660mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,650mm, the X-FORCE shares similarities with the Toyota Corolla Cross and Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross in terms of size. Sporting a design theme dubbed “Silky & Solid,” its three-dimensional surface structure, rooted in straight lines, accentuates the SUV’s robustness and dynamism.
The front fascia boasts T-shaped headlights in line with Mitsubishi’s signature “Dynamic Shield” design philosophy, exuding a commanding presence. Two-tone body sides with blacked-out upper pillars contribute to an urban and sophisticated aesthetic, while the rear mirrors the front’s L-shaped design, enhanced by a large rear spoiler for a sporty touch.
Internally, the X-FORCE adopts the “HORIZONTAL AXIS” concept to deliver a top-tier interior space within its class. Higher-end models feature a 12.3-inch display audio, an 8-inch digital meter, “Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium” developed in collaboration with Yamaha, ambient lighting, and genuine leather seats, elevating the model’s quality beyond expectations.
Under the hood lies a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine generating 77kW of power and 141Nm of torque paired with a CVT transmission. While all variants are front-wheel drive, 4WD is an option in select regions. With a minimum ground clearance of 193mm and equipped with AYC (Active Yaw Control), four drive modes, and terrain control, the X-FORCE ensures exceptional performance on various terrains.
Advanced driver assistance features like adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross traffic alert enhance the vehicle’s safety capabilities. The X-FORCE lineup comprises two models: the high-end “GT” and the base model “GLS,” priced between 1,367,000 pesos (approximately 3.75 million yen) and 1,581,000 pesos (approximately 4.34 million yen).
