Originally debuting in 1984, the 4Runner has undergone a remarkable evolution, with the Japanese model known as the “Hilux Surf” up to its fourth generation. The current fifth-generation model, introduced in 2009, boasts a robust chassis, sturdy frame structure, and a 4-link coil rear suspension with lateral rods and stabilizer bar.
The exterior design showcases a fearless aesthetic, complemented by innovative features such as the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS), Crawl Control (CRAWL), and Active Traction Control (A-TRAC) systems, significantly enhancing its off-road and on-road driving performance.
Measuring 4831-4859mm in length, 1925mm in width, and 1816-1829mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2789mm, the 4Runner exudes a commanding presence. Under the hood, a powerful 4-liter V-6 engine generates 270 horsepower and 278 lb ft, mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission.
