Mazda MX-30 2022 model (European specifications)On May 12, Mazda’s European division announced that the 2022 model year of Mazda MX-30, Mazda’s first mass-produced EV, will go on sale in the European market in July. It is designed to reduce charging time.
The MX-30 will feature e-SKYACTIV, a new generation of electrification technology. The system consists of a motor, battery pack, inverter, and DC-DC converter. The motor, inverter, DC-DC converter, and junction box are designed as one unit and integrated into a high-voltage unit at the front of the vehicle. For the European version, the motor produces a maximum output of 145ps.
The lithium-ion battery, which is located under the floor and has a storage capacity of 35.5 kWh, has a range of approximately 200 km (WLTP cycle combined mode) per charge. As a result, the quick charge time has been reduced by 10 minutes, from approximately 36 minutes to 26 minutes.”
