Jimny & Jimny Sierra 5-speed manual transmission models now feature a “”stop-start idling stop system
Partial specification changes to the Jimny & Jimny Sierra include the addition of a “”stop-start idling stop system”” (activated only in 2WD mode) to the 5-speed manual transmission models.
In addition, the layout of some of the instrument panel switches has been changed.
The Jimny and Jimny Sierra qualify as “”Support Car S Wide”” promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), as well as “”Collision Damage Mitigation Braking System (AEBS2)”” and “”Pedal Mistake Prevention Device (PMPD)”” by the MLIT.

Measuring in at 3994 mm in length, 1780 mm in width, and 1572 mm in height, the Magnite stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Toyota’s “Raize,” a notable contender in Japan’s automobile market. This newcomer’s dimensions are even more compact than Nissan’s KIX, a model launched in Japan in June 2020. With an overall length under 4 meters, the Magnite earns the distinction of being Nissan’s smallest SUV model.
It’s important to note, however, that as of January 2023, this captivating compact SUV isn’t available for purchase in Japan.

On July 21, Honda notified the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) of a defect in the Honda Sensing, a safe driving assist system, of the Fit. The affected models are 117,893 vehicles manufactured between January 21, 2020 and February 8, 2021.
The affected vehicles may not activate the front wide-view camera when the vehicle is started up due to an improper activation processing program for the front wide-view camera in the driving safety support system. As a result, the indicator light may turn on even though the collision damage reduction brakes, etc. are inactive, and the driver may not be able to recognize that the system is inactive.
As a remedial measure, all vehicles will have the front wide-view camera activation processing program rewritten with a countermeasure program.
No defects or accidents have been reported. The company reported the remedial measures based on internal information.”
