New Fuel Cell Vehicle Based on Honda’s New CR-V
Equipped with production facilities optimized for low-volume production, PMC is a plant capable of combining the craftsmanship of skilled engineers with innovative advanced production technologies to achieve the highest level of quality and craftsmanship. The plant has a proven track record, having produced the second generation “”NSX”” at the plant.
These characteristics of PMC are also suitable for the production of FCEVs, which require special assembly processes, and the plant will be responsible for the production of new FCEVs starting in 2024.
The new FCEV will be developed based on the new CR-V (6th generation), which was announced in the US in the summer of 2022. In addition to the features of FCEVs, which can fill up with hydrogen in a short time and drive long distances, this model has an additional plug-in function that allows charging at home or in town.
