In the U.S., the CR-V is available in four grades: EX, EX-L, sport, and Sport Touring, with different looks and equipment depending on the grade.
The exterior design was inspired by the Ridgeline and Passport Trial Sport models in the U.S. lineup.
It evolves a new Honda design direction with premium proportions and a wide, broadened stance, with a low horizontal beltline and a long, powerful front end.
Body dimensions are 184.8 inches (4693 mm) long x 73.4 inches (1864 mm) wide x 66.2-66.6 inches (1681- 1691 mm) high with a wheelbase of 106.3 inches (2700 mm).
The front face features a large upright grille, long hood, and LED headlights as standard equipment for powerful styling.
The EX and EX-L grades come standard with gloss black grille mesh with chrome plating, body-color side mirrors with turn signals, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The rear view is also instantly recognizable as the new CR-V, with a body-color roof spoiler and vertical taillights with LEDs.
The hybrid models, Sport and Sport Touring, have even bolder styling.
The more aggressive front and rear fascia and grille mesh are highlighted by gloss black accents and a square-shaped exhaust finisher. The lower bumpers are uniquely designed in gloss black on the Sport and platinum on the Sport Touring.
The underside of the rear spoiler is matte black on the Sport and gloss black on the Sport Touring, and the Sport Touring comes with 19-inch black aluminum wheels.
The interior of the new CR-V features a sporty, modern interior with high-quality materials and upscale touches that showcase Honda’s new design direction.
The instrument panel features a metal honeycomb mesh on the dashboard that conceals the air vents for a clean and harmonious design.
In addition, the couple distance from the front seats to the rear seats and the legroom for the rear seats have been significantly increased (+0.6 inches). The rear seats can now recline in eight positions for improved comfort.
