Toyota's luxury minivan, the Alphard, is known for its comfortable rear seats. The current model, introduced in 2015 and updated in 2017, has become increasingly popular in the crowded minivan market. Despite competition from smaller, compact models and larger, more expensive ones, the Alphard has even topped minivan sales rankings in recent years. A special edition of the Alphard, the S "TYPE GOLD II," was released in May 2021 with gold accents on the exterior and interior. The author tested out the car's comfort by sleeping in it overnight, specifically focusing on the second row's "Relax Captain Seats" with ottomans.
