Two 4-door models of Nissan’s Skyline GT-R are being auctioned
Two 4-door models of Nissan’s Skyline GT-R are being auctioned: the Skyline 2000 GT-R, the first GT-R based on the third-generation Skyline, and the Skyline GT-R AUTEC VERSION 40th ANNIVERSARY, which was introduced in 1997 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Skyline’s birth. The GT-R AUTEC VERSION 40th ANNIVERSARY was created based on the concept of the highest performance 4-door sports sedan in Japan for adults. The exterior is based on the Skyline 4-door sedan body, with original blister fenders added to the rear doors and rear fenders for a wider body. The rear spoiler is not installed, giving it a more mature finish.
